The internet has a wealth of material on virtually every topic, and classroom management is no exception.  Just “Google” the term classroom management and you get over a million hits.  Your “quest” is to be an explorer, searching the web for great (and not so great) websites about classroom management.  Your initial task is to visit a minimum of 25 sites.  Try to find sites specific to your grade level, content area, or assignment.  For example, search terms might include Classroom Management Physical Education, Middle School Classroom Management, Bullying, etc.  You should keep a record of the sites visited (URLs) and turn this list in along with your written analysis.

Once you have completed your visit, your task is to evaluate the seven best websites you find.   Your evaluation should include a synopsis of the primary features of the website as well as a critical analysis of the usefulness of the materials found on this website to you as a classroom teacher.  Hoes the site offer realistic ideas to assist you in the management of your classroom?   See the template for additional assessment information.  Your paper should be written in a narrative essay format, and should be about 9 pages (about one page per site plus an introduction/conclusion and list of sites visited).

In addition, you should be prepared to visit and discuss one especially good or especially bad site with the class on July 5 (about five minutes each).
